Your responsibilities will include verifying orders, generating shipping labels, coordinating with carriers, and maintaining organized shipping documentation. The ideal candidate possesses strong organizational skills, meticulous attention to detail, and a proactive approach to problem-solving within a warehouse environment. Adherence to all Safety guidelines, including the proper use of Personal Protective Equipment (PPE), is mandatory. This role involves physical tasks, including regular Lifting of packages. Responsibilities:
- Process and prepare all outgoing shipments accurately.
- Generate and apply shipping labels to packages.
- Verify order details and product information before dispatch.
- Schedule pickups with various shipping carriers.
- Maintain accurate shipping records and documentation.
- Ensure shipments are compliant with all regulations.
- Communicate with internal teams and external partners regarding shipment status.
- Maintain a clean, organized, and safe shipping area.
- Handle tasks involving frequent Lifting of packages up to 50 lbs.
- Support overall logistics operations and efficiency.
Qualifications:
- High school diploma or equivalent.
- Proven experience in a shipping or logistics role.
- Familiarity with different shipping carriers and their requirements.
- Excellent organizational and time-management abilities.
- Strong attention to detail and accuracy.
- Ability to perform moderate to heavy Lifting.
- Commitment to upholding workplace Safety standards.
- Proficiency in using shipping software and basic computer skills.
- Must be able to wear required PPE.
- Effective communication skills.
