We are seeking a dedicated and experienced Forklift Operator to join our dynamic logistics team in Philadelphia, Pennsylvania. The ideal candidate will be responsible for operating a forklift to move, locate, relocate, stack, and count merchandise. This role is crucial to ensuring the efficient and safe flow of goods within our warehouse. You will be involved in various aspects of warehouse operations, contributing to the overall success of our supply chain. Your primary focus will be on material handling, ensuring accuracy in inventory movement, and adhering to all safety protocols. Responsibilities:
- Safely operate a forklift to load, unload, and move materials within the warehouse.
- Accurately pick and stage orders for shipment.
- Conduct daily inspections of forklift equipment and report any issues.
- Maintain a clean and organized work area, ensuring compliance with safety regulations.
- Assist with inventory counts and stock rotation.
- Follow all company policies and procedures, with a strong emphasis on safety.
- Participate in training sessions to enhance skills and knowledge of warehouse operations and safety procedures.
- Must be able to perform tasks involving significant Lifting.
- Adhere to strict Safety guidelines at all times.
- Contribute to the overall efficiency of our Logistics operations.
- Wear appropriate PPE as required.
Qualifications:
- Proven experience as a Forklift Operator.
- Valid forklift operator certification.
- Ability to lift up to 50 lbs.
- Strong understanding of warehouse safety procedures.
- Excellent attention to detail and organizational skills.
- Reliable and punctual with a strong work ethic.
- Experience with pallet jacks and other material handling equipment is a plus.
