Join our vibrant team in Miami, Florida, as a Shipping Clerk! We are seeking a detail-oriented and organized individual to manage the outbound flow of goods. Your primary responsibilities will include preparing outgoing shipments, accurately documenting orders, coordinating with carriers, and ensuring that all packages are correctly labeled and ready for dispatch. This role is crucial for maintaining customer satisfaction and ensuring the timely delivery of products. You will work closely with other warehouse staff and the logistics team to ensure a seamless shipping process. A strong understanding of shipping procedures and inventory control is essential. Maintaining an organized and safe shipping area is also a key aspect of this role. The correct use of PPE and adherence to all Safety guidelines are mandatory. We are looking for proactive individuals who can manage multiple tasks efficiently in a dynamic environment. This is an excellent opportunity to contribute to our growing logistics operations and develop your skills in an important functional area. The ability to handle moderate Lifting and work effectively under pressure will be beneficial.
Responsibilities:
- Prepare products for shipment, including packaging and labeling.
- Verify order accuracy and ensure correct items are picked.
- Generate shipping labels and documentation accurately.
- Coordinate with freight carriers for pickup schedules.
- Track shipments and provide status updates as needed.
- Maintain a clean and organized shipping area.
- Ensure compliance with all Safety regulations and company policies.
- Wear appropriate PPE at all times.
- Support the broader logistics team with related tasks.
- Ability to perform moderate Lifting as required.
Qualifications:
- Previous experience in shipping, receiving, or warehouse operations.
- Proficiency in using shipping software and inventory management systems.
- Excellent organizational and time management skills.
- Strong attention to detail and accuracy.
- Understanding of shipping and logistics processes.
- Commitment to Safety standards and use of PPE .
- Physical ability to stand for extended periods and perform some Lifting .
