We are seeking a skilled Warehouse Technician to join our dynamic logistics team in Tampa, Florida. As a Warehouse Technician, you will be responsible for maintaining and repairing warehouse equipment, ensuring optimal operational efficiency, and contributing to a safe working environment. This role is crucial to our supply chain operations, supporting the smooth flow of goods and materials. You will work closely with the warehouse management team to identify and address any technical issues that may arise, from conveyor belts to pallet jacks. Your expertise will directly impact our productivity and the overall success of our logistics network.
Responsibilities:
- Perform routine maintenance and repair on all warehouse machinery and equipment.
- Diagnose and troubleshoot mechanical and electrical issues.
- Ensure all equipment is functioning safely and efficiently, adhering to company standards and **PPE** guidelines.
- Conduct regular safety inspections and report any hazards or concerns.
- Assist with inventory management and stock rotation as needed.
- Collaborate with other departments to resolve operational challenges.
- Maintain accurate records of maintenance and repairs.
- Operate various warehouse equipment, adhering to **Lifting** and material handling best practices.
- Stay updated on new technologies and techniques in warehouse maintenance.
- Contribute to a culture of continuous improvement within the warehouse operations.
Qualifications:
- Proven experience as a Warehouse Technician or similar role.
- Strong mechanical and electrical aptitude.
- Knowledge of **Logistics** and warehouse operations.
- Familiarity with **Safety** regulations and procedures.
- Ability to work independently and as part of a team.
- Excellent problem-solving skills.
- Physical stamina and ability to perform manual labor, including **Lifting** up to 50 lbs.
- High school diploma or equivalent.
