As a Forklift Operator, you will play a vital role in our supply chain, ensuring efficient loading, unloading, stocking, and retrieval of inventory. You will be responsible for operating various types of forklifts to transport materials throughout the facility. - Safely operate forklifts to load, unload, and move materials throughout the warehouse.
- Transport inventory to and from designated storage areas.
- Accurately pick and stage orders for shipment.
- Perform routine inspections and maintenance checks on forklifts.
- Report any equipment malfunctions or safety concerns immediately.
- Maintain a clean and organized work environment.
- Assist with inventory counts and stock rotation.
- Follow all established safety procedures and regulations.
- Collaborate with team members to ensure smooth warehouse operations.
- Contribute to the overall efficiency and productivity of the logistics department.
- High school diploma or equivalent required.
- Proven experience operating forklifts in a warehouse or industrial setting.
- Valid forklift operator certification.
- Familiarity with different types of forklifts and attachments.
- Ability to perform tasks involving physical exertion, including moderate Lifting (up to 50 lbs).
- Strong understanding of warehouse safety protocols and best practices.
- Must be committed to wearing and using all required Personal Protective Equipment (PPE).
- Good hand-eye coordination and attention to detail.
- Ability to work independently and meet production targets.
- Reliability, punctuality, and a strong work ethic are essential in this logistics role.
