HVAC Engineer

Job Requirements:

• Detailed knowledge of HVAC techniques, materials, and equipment is essential.
• Completed apprenticeship in refrigeration and air conditioning.
• Full clean driving license.
• Minimum 5+ years of experience in a similar role.
• Experience supervising or overseeing work.
• The ability to understand technical drawings and plans.
• Excellent practical and problem-solving skills.
• Good communication and interpersonal skills, as you'll be dealing with customers regularly.
• The ability to work independently and as part of a team.
• A meticulous approach to work.
• Knowledge of industry safety standards, gas regulations, and legal guidelines.
• Remuneration package will be commensurate with experience.
• Plumbing experience would be an advantage.

Responsibilities:

• Installation and/or maintenance of HVAC systems.
• Service call-out and repair work on HVAC kits.
• Locating faults in systems and equipment and repairing issues.
• Working on various air conditioning systems, mainly Mitsubishi, Toshiba, and Daikin.
• Responding to emergency customer calls for repairs such as leaks and other problems.
