AI Software Architect

We’re hiring an experienced AI Software Architect to join a fast-growing, innovative B2B SaaS

company operating in the Financial Services and Compliance technology space. This is a

senior, high-impact role for someone who wants to shape AI strategy, design enterprise-grade

architectures, and lead the development of next-generation AI-powered products.

This role is ideal for someone with deep technical expertise who enjoys working in small to

mid-sized, high-growth environments where decisions are made quickly and individual

impact is highly visible. You’ll play a key role in defining how AI is applied across the platform,

with a strong focus on real-world, production-grade solutions rather than experimentation.

You’ll own the end-to-end design of AI solutions, from strategy through to implementation,

ensuring systems are scalable, secure, cost-effective, and compliant within a regulated

environment. You will:

• Lead AI architecture and technical strategy across the platform
  
• Design and build AI solutions using LLMs, RAG, vector databases, and embeddings
  
• Partner closely with Engineering, Product, and Compliance teams to deliver customer-facing AI features
  
• Guide model selection, optimisation, performance, and cost efficiency
  
• Evaluate vendors, tools, and emerging AI technologies
  
• Champion Responsible AI, including ethics, explainability, and regulatory alignment
  
• Mentor engineers and promote best practices in AI engineering

• 15+ years of software engineering experience, with 5+ years at Architecture or Principal level
  
• Strong hands-on experience building LLM-based applications
  
• Deep knowledge of RAG pipelines, vector search, and AI system design
  
• Experience in SaaS or product-led technology companies
  
• Comfortable in fast-paced, high-ownership environments
  
• Excellent communication and stakeholder leadership skills architectures, and lead the development of next-generation AI-powered products.
