Are you a skilled Reach Truck Operator looking for a new opportunity in Charlotte, North Carolina? We are seeking experienced operators to join our fast-paced distribution center. As a Reach Truck Operator, you will be responsible for operating specialized machinery to move, locate, relocate, stack, and count merchandise. Your primary focus will be on ensuring efficient and safe handling of materials within our Logistics operations. This role requires precision and a deep understanding of warehouse safety protocols, including the mandatory use of PPE . You will play a critical role in maintaining inventory accuracy and supporting the overall workflow of the distribution center. The ideal candidate will have a proven track record of safe operation, excellent attention to detail, and the ability to work effectively in a team environment. While operating the reach truck is the main focus, you may also be required to assist with other warehouse duties, including tasks that involve Lifting and general material handling. Responsibilities:
- Operate a reach truck to move, stack, and unstack merchandise in a safe and efficient manner.
- Perform daily inspections of the reach truck and report any maintenance issues.
- Accurately pick and place pallets according to order specifications.
- Assist with inventory control by accurately documenting movements and locations.
- Adhere strictly to all Safety regulations and guidelines, including the proper use of PPE .
- Maintain a clean and organized work environment, ensuring clear aisles and work areas.
- Support overall Logistics operations by assisting with loading and unloading trucks as needed.
- Participate in other warehouse activities, including some manual Lifting , as directed.
Qualifications:
- Proven experience operating a reach truck.
- Valid certification for operating reach trucks (or ability to obtain).
- Knowledge of warehouse operations and Logistics procedures.
- Strong understanding of equipment operation and maintenance.
- Commitment to adhering to all Safety rules and using required PPE .
- Ability to perform tasks involving occasional manual Lifting .
- Excellent attention to detail and accuracy.
- Team player with good communication skills.
