We are looking for a skilled and experienced Reach Truck Operator to join our warehouse facility in Durham, North Carolina. As a Reach Truck Operator, you will be responsible for safely and efficiently operating a reach truck to move, locate, relocate, stack, and count merchandise in the warehouse. This role is critical to maintaining organized inventory levels and ensuring the smooth flow of goods throughout our logistics network. You will be navigating narrow aisles and operating at considerable heights, so a steady hand and excellent spatial awareness are essential. Maintaining the cleanliness and orderliness of your work area and the warehouse premises is also a key responsibility. Safety is our top priority; therefore, adherence to all company safety policies and procedures, including the proper use of Personal Protective Equipment (PPE), is non-negotiable. You will be expected to perform pre-operation inspections on the reach truck to ensure it is in good working order. Efficiently loading and unloading pallets from racking systems and transporting them to designated areas will be a significant part of your daily tasks. This position requires individuals with a strong understanding of warehouse operations, inventory control, and material handling best practices. The ability to perform tasks involving significant Lifting and maneuvering of materials is necessary. Experience with warehouse management systems (WMS) is a plus. We encourage a proactive approach to problem-solving and teamwork. Regular training refreshers on safety and equipment operation will be provided to ensure you are up-to-date with the latest industry standards.
