Are you looking for an exciting opportunity in the logistics industry? Our Columbus, Ohio facility is hiring a dedicated Fulfillment Associate to play a key role in our fast-paced warehouse environment. As a Fulfillment Associate, you will be responsible for accurately picking, packing, and shipping customer orders. This position requires a strong work ethic, attention to detail, and the ability to thrive in a team-oriented setting. You will be instrumental in ensuring that our customers receive their orders accurately and on time, contributing directly to our operational efficiency and customer satisfaction.
Responsibilities:
- Accurately pick customer orders using pick lists or scanning equipment.
- Inspect products for damage or defects before packing.
- Pack items securely and efficiently, ensuring they are ready for shipment.
- Operate various warehouse equipment, including pallet jacks and hand trucks.
- Maintain a clean and organized work area to promote safety and efficiency.
- Adhere to all safety protocols and procedures, including the correct use of Personal Protective Equipment (PPE).
- Meet or exceed productivity and quality standards.
- Assist with receiving and stocking of incoming inventory.
- Participate in team meetings and contribute to process improvement initiatives.
- Understand and follow all warehouse policies and procedures related to logistics and order fulfillment.
Qualifications:
- High school diploma or equivalent required.
- Previous experience in a warehouse, fulfillment, or similar role is a plus.
- Ability to read and understand pick lists and shipping labels.
- Proficiency in basic math skills.
- Strong attention to detail and accuracy.
- Ability to work independently and as part of a team.
- Physical stamina to stand, walk, bend, and lift for extended periods.
- Willingness to perform lifting tasks, up to 40 pounds.
- Commitment to maintaining a safe work environment and following safety guidelines.
- Understanding of general logistics and supply chain principles is beneficial.
