Join our bustling logistics hub in Atlanta, Georgia, as a skilled Forklift Operator! We are seeking experienced and safety-minded individuals to manage the efficient movement of goods within our state-of-the-art warehouse. Your role is essential for ensuring timely loading and unloading of trucks, accurate placement of inventory, and overall operational flow. Safety is our top priority, and we expect all operators to adhere strictly to our Safety procedures and consistently use Personal Protective Equipment (PPE). This position requires proficiency in various forklift types and involves regular physical activity, including significant Lifting. - Operating forklifts (sit-down, stand-up, reach, cherry picker) safely and efficiently.
- Loading and unloading inbound and outbound shipments.
- Transporting materials to and from designated areas within the warehouse.
- Stacking and organizing inventory in racks and other storage locations.
- Performing daily inspections of forklifts and reporting any maintenance needs.
- Adhering to all company Safety rules and regulations.
- Correct and consistent use of required Personal Protective Equipment (PPE).
- Must be able to perform frequent Lifting of up to 75 lbs.
- Previous experience operating forklifts in a warehouse or distribution center environment is required.
- Certification as a forklift operator is a must.
- Knowledge of warehouse Safety protocols and best practices is essential.
- Familiarity with inventory management and general logistics is a plus.
- This role requires a keen eye for detail, good hand-eye coordination, and the ability to work effectively under pressure.
