We have an immediate opening for an experienced Forklift Operator in Philadelphia, Pennsylvania. If you possess excellent forklift operation skills and a strong focus on Safety, we want to hear from you. This role is critical to our logistics operations, ensuring the smooth movement of goods throughout our facility. You will be responsible for operating various types of forklifts to transport materials efficiently and safely. Our company is dedicated to providing a secure and healthy work environment for all employees, emphasizing the importance of proper Safety procedures and the use of Personal Protective Equipment (PPE). Responsibilities include:
- Safely operating forklifts to move, stack, and unstack materials.
- Loading and unloading inventory from trucks and shipping docks.
- Identifying and reporting any damaged goods or equipment malfunctions.
- Maintaining organized storage areas and ensuring product integrity.
- Performing routine checks and maintenance on forklifts.
- Strict adherence to all company safety policies and procedures.
- Consistent use of required Personal Protective Equipment (PPE).
- Must be able to lift up to 75 lbs. on a regular basis.
- Previous experience as a certified forklift operator is required.
- Knowledge of warehouse Safety regulations and best practices.
- Understanding of logistics and inventory management principles is beneficial.
- This role requires a strong work ethic and the ability to work effectively in a fast-paced environment.
