As a Warehouse Associate, your responsibilities will span various critical functions, including receiving shipments, stocking inventory, picking and packing orders, and preparing items for dispatch. You will operate in a busy warehouse environment, contributing directly to the timely delivery of products to our diverse clientele. A strong emphasis is placed on safety; all team members are expected to strictly adhere to safety regulations and utilize appropriate Personal Protective Equipment (PPE) at all times. This position requires individuals with a solid work ethic, the ability to handle physical demands including regular lifting, and a keen eye for detail. Prior experience in a warehouse setting or in logistics is highly beneficial, though comprehensive training will be provided to successful candidates. Responsibilities:
- Accurately receive and unload incoming shipments.
- Sort, label, and store inventory in appropriate locations.
- Pick items for orders with precision using order sheets or scanning devices.
- Pack orders securely and efficiently for shipment.
- Load outgoing shipments onto delivery vehicles.
- Maintain a clean, organized, and safe warehouse environment.
- Adhere to all company safety policies and use designated PPE.
- Participate in regular inventory checks and cycle counts.
- Operate warehouse equipment such as pallet jacks and forklifts (training provided/certification required for some).
Qualifications:
- High school diploma or equivalent.
- Physical ability to perform tasks including standing, walking, bending, and lifting up to 50 lbs regularly.
- Basic understanding of warehouse procedures and logistics.
- Good organizational and time management skills.
- Ability to work effectively in a team-oriented environment.
- Commitment to safety and following instructions carefully.
- Previous warehouse experience is a plus.
