We are looking for experienced Forklift Operators to join our key **logistics** facility in Seattle, Washington. As a Forklift Operator, you will be responsible for the safe and efficient movement of materials within our warehouse, ensuring timely processing of inventory. This role requires precision, a strong understanding of **safety** protocols, and proficiency in operating various types of forklifts. Responsibilities:
- Operate forklifts safely and efficiently to move, stack, and retrieve materials.
- Load and unload trucks and containers with accuracy.
- Perform daily pre-operation checks on forklift equipment.
- Adhere strictly to all **safety** guidelines and company policies.
- Wear all required **PPE**, including **safety** glasses, vests, and appropriate footwear.
- Maintain organized storage of inventory.
- Assist with inventory counts and reconciliation.
- Support **logistics** operations by ensuring materials are in the right place at the right time.
- Follow proper **lifting** and handling procedures for diverse materials.
- Report any **safety** hazards or equipment issues immediately.
Qualifications:
- Proven experience as a Forklift Operator in a warehouse or **logistics** setting.
- Valid forklift certification.
- Excellent knowledge of warehouse **safety** standards.
- Ability to perform physical tasks, including **lifting** up to 50 lbs, and standing for extended periods.
- Proficiency in using required **PPE**.
- Strong attention to detail and accuracy.
- Good communication and teamwork skills.
- Reliability and punctuality.
