Are you ready for a physically demanding and rewarding role in the heart of San Diego, California's logistics scene? We are seeking a skilled Material Handler to join our dynamic team. As a Material Handler, you will be instrumental in the movement of goods throughout our warehouse, ensuring materials are efficiently transported, stored, and prepared for outbound shipment. This role requires strength, agility, and a keen understanding of warehouse flow. You will operate various material handling equipment and work closely with other departments to optimize workflow. Key responsibilities include: loading and unloading materials from trucks and other transport vehicles; moving materials within the warehouse using forklifts, pallet jacks, and other equipment; stocking and organizing materials in designated areas; assisting with inventory management and cycle counts; preparing materials for shipment; and ensuring all materials are handled safely and efficiently. This position involves significant Lifting, often over 50 lbs, and requires proficiency in operating material handling machinery. A rigorous commitment to Safety, including the correct application of Personal Protective Equipment (PPE), is non-negotiable.
