We are hiring a dedicated Picker/Packer to join our vibrant logistics team in Austin, Texas! This role is central to our order fulfillment process, requiring precision and efficiency in gathering and preparing customer orders for shipment. As a Picker/Packer, you will meticulously select items from warehouse inventory, accurately package them for transit, and ensure that all orders are processed correctly and on time. Attention to detail is crucial for success in this position. You will work closely with other warehouse staff to maintain an organized and productive environment. Key responsibilities include: accurately picking customer orders using handheld scanners or pick lists; inspecting items for damage before packing; selecting appropriate packaging materials; packing items securely to prevent damage during shipping; labeling packages for shipment; and assisting with other warehouse duties as needed. This position requires regular Lifting of up to 35 lbs and the ability to stand and walk for extended periods. A strong emphasis on Safety is expected, including the mandatory use of Personal Protective Equipment (PPE).
