You will be responsible for locating items in our warehouse, preparing them for shipment, and ensuring they meet our quality standards. Responsibilities:
- Accurately pick items from warehouse shelves based on order requirements using RF scanners or pick sheets.
- Verify picked items against order details for accuracy.
- Pack items securely and efficiently into appropriate shipping containers.
- Apply shipping labels and prepare packages for dispatch.
- Maintain a clean and organized workstation and contribute to the overall tidiness of the warehouse.
- Operate pallet jacks and other basic material handling equipment safely.
- Assist with inventory counts and stock organization as needed.
- Adhere strictly to all safety regulations and company policies, including the consistent use of PPE.
- Meet productivity and quality standards for picking and packing operations.
- Collaborate with team members to ensure smooth workflow in our logistics operations.
Qualifications:
- High school diploma or equivalent.
- Prior experience as a Picker/Packer or in a similar warehouse role is advantageous.
- Ability to perform tasks requiring physical stamina, including regular lifting of up to 40 lbs.
- Excellent attention to detail and commitment to accuracy.
- Ability to work effectively in a fast-paced warehouse setting.
- Understanding of warehouse safety procedures and the importance of wearing appropriate PPE.
- Must be able to stand, walk, bend, and reach for extended periods.
- Good communication and teamwork skills.
- Must be reliable and punctual.
