Job Summary:
Our Seattle, Washington facility is looking for a skilled Warehouse Technician to join our operations team. This position is vital for maintaining the functionality and efficiency of our warehouse equipment and infrastructure, directly supporting our logistics and supply chain activities. You will be responsible for performing preventative maintenance, troubleshooting issues, and ensuring all equipment operates safely and effectively. This role requires technical expertise, a strong understanding of warehouse operations, and a commitment to safety.
Responsibilities:
  • Perform routine preventative maintenance on warehouse equipment, including forklifts, conveyor systems, and automated machinery.
  • Diagnose and repair mechanical, electrical, and hydraulic issues.
  • Conduct regular safety inspections of equipment and facilities, ensuring compliance with OSHA standards.
  • Maintain accurate records of maintenance activities, repairs, and inventory of spare parts.
  • Operate equipment safely as needed for testing and repair purposes.
  • Ensure all work is performed in accordance with safety protocols and the use of appropriate PPE.
  • Respond promptly to equipment malfunctions and emergency repair needs.
  • Assist in the installation and setup of new equipment.
  • Contribute to improving the reliability and efficiency of our logistics infrastructure.
  • Adhere to all company policies and procedures, with a focus on safety and operational excellence.

Qualifications:
  • High school diploma or GED required; technical certification or degree in a related field preferred.
  • Proven experience as a maintenance technician, ideally in a warehouse or logistics environment.
  • Strong mechanical, electrical, and hydraulic troubleshooting skills.
  • Ability to read and interpret blueprints, schematics, and technical manuals.
  • Experience with various types of warehouse equipment and machinery.
  • Knowledge of workplace safety regulations and the importance of PPE.
  • Ability to perform occasional lifting of up to 50 lbs.
  • Excellent problem-solving skills and attention to detail.
  • Ability to work independently and as part of a team.
  • Must be reliable and have a flexible schedule to address urgent needs.
