We are seeking a dedicated Warehouse Worker to join our logistics team in Richmond, Virginia. In this role, you will be instrumental in the daily operations of our warehouse, handling a variety of tasks to ensure the smooth flow of goods. Your responsibilities will include receiving, storing, picking, packing, and shipping orders, all while maintaining a safe and organized workspace. Responsibilities:
- Receive and inspect incoming inventory.
- Accurately stock and store materials in their designated locations.
- Pick and prepare orders for shipment, ensuring accuracy and quality.
- Pack products securely for transit.
- Load and unload delivery trucks.
- Operate pallet jacks and other basic warehouse equipment.
- Maintain a clean and orderly warehouse environment.
- Follow all safety guidelines and procedures, including proper use of PPE.
- Assist with inventory counts as directed.
- Contribute to overall team efficiency and productivity in our logistics operations.
Qualifications:
- High school diploma or GED preferred.
- Previous experience in a warehouse or general labor role is beneficial.
- Ability to perform physical tasks, including regular lifting of up to 50 lbs.
- Strong work ethic and reliability.
- Basic understanding of warehouse operations.
- Commitment to safety and willingness to follow instructions regarding PPE.
- Ability to work independently and as part of a team.
- Good communication skills.
- Must be punctual and dependable.
