Our Baltimore, Maryland facility is seeking a diligent Shipping Clerk to join our logistics team. This role is essential for ensuring that all outgoing shipments are accurately prepared, documented, and dispatched. You will play a key role in the final stages of our order fulfillment process, contributing to customer satisfaction and operational efficiency. - Preparing shipping labels and documentation for outgoing packages.
- Verifying the accuracy of outgoing shipments against orders.
- Packing items securely and efficiently for transit.
- Coordinating with carriers for package pickup.
- Loading shipments onto delivery vehicles.
- Maintaining accurate shipping records and logs.
- Inspecting outgoing orders for quality and completeness.
- Ensuring the shipping area is clean, organized, and safe.
- Adhering to all company safety regulations and procedures.
Qualifications:
- High school diploma or equivalent.
- Previous experience in shipping, logistics, or a related warehouse role is preferred.
- Strong attention to detail and accuracy.
- Excellent organizational and time management skills.
- Basic computer proficiency for data entry and label generation.
- Ability to perform moderate Lifting, up to 40 pounds.
- Willingness to wear required Personal Protective Equipment (PPE).
- Ability to work effectively in a fast-paced environment.
