Join our dynamic team as a Receiving Clerk in Orlando, Florida! This role is pivotal to our warehouse operations, ensuring that all incoming shipments are accurately received, inspected, and documented. You will be the first point of contact for many deliveries, playing a key part in the smooth functioning of our logistics chain. We are looking for a reliable and organized individual with a keen eye for detail and a commitment to safety. - Receiving incoming shipments from various carriers.
- Verifying the contents of shipments against purchase orders and invoices.
- Inspecting goods for damage or discrepancies.
- Documenting all received items accurately in the system.
- Unloading materials using pallet jacks or other equipment.
- Organizing and staging received goods for put-away or further processing.
- Communicating any issues or discrepancies to supervisors.
- Maintaining a clean and safe receiving area.
- Adhering to all company safety protocols and procedures.
Qualifications:
- High school diploma or equivalent.
- Previous experience in a receiving, warehouse, or logistics role is preferred.
- Ability to perform moderate Lifting, up to 40 pounds.
- Strong attention to detail and accuracy.
- Good organizational and record-keeping skills.
- Basic computer skills for data entry.
- Willingness to wear required Personal Protective Equipment (PPE), such as safety vests and gloves.
- Ability to work efficiently in a fast-paced environment.
