Your primary responsibilities will include picking items from warehouse shelves based on order lists, carefully packing them for shipment, and preparing orders for dispatch. This role is vital to our e-commerce operations and requires a strong commitment to accuracy and speed. You will be expected to work collaboratively with team members to meet daily targets and ensure customer satisfaction. We prioritize a safe working environment, and all employees are required to use appropriate PPE, including safety shoes and gloves. This position involves significant physical activity, including extensive walking, bending, reaching, and frequent lifting of items up to 40 pounds. Experience with RF scanners and warehouse management systems is a definite advantage. Responsibilities:
- Accurately pick products from designated warehouse locations using order pick lists or RF scanners.
- Inspect picked items for quality and accuracy.
- Package products securely and efficiently for shipment.
- Label packages correctly for shipping carriers.
- Prepare orders for loading onto delivery trucks.
- Maintain a clean and organized work area.
- Follow all company safety guidelines and wear required PPE.
- Meet established productivity and quality standards.
- Assist with inventory counts and other warehouse tasks as assigned.
Qualifications:
- High school diploma or GED.
- Previous experience as a picker/packer or in a warehouse role is a plus.
- Ability to lift up to 40 lbs regularly.
- Comfortable with standing, walking, and bending for long periods.
- Basic math and reading skills.
- Familiarity with logistics and supply chain operations.
- Strong attention to detail and accuracy.
- Commitment to workplace safety and adherence to all regulations.
