Join our dynamic team as a Picker/Packer in the vibrant city of Chicago, Illinois! We are looking for enthusiastic individuals to play a key role in our order fulfillment process. You will be responsible for accurately picking items from inventory and carefully packing them for shipment, ensuring our customers receive their orders in perfect condition. This fast-paced role requires efficiency, accuracy, and a strong commitment to Safety. Your work directly impacts customer satisfaction in our logistics operations.
Key Responsibilities:
- Accurately pick products from warehouse locations using order sheets or scanning devices.
- Verify picked items against order details to ensure accuracy.
- Select appropriate packaging materials and pack items securely and efficiently.
- Apply shipping labels and prepare packages for dispatch.
- Assist with receiving and put-away of incoming inventory.
- Maintain a clean, organized, and safe work environment.
- Operate hand trucks or pallet jacks as needed.
- Perform cycle counts and assist with inventory management tasks.
- Follow all company policies and procedures, including those related to Safety and PPE.
- Communicate any order discrepancies or issues to supervisors.
Qualifications:
- High school diploma or equivalent.
- Previous experience as a picker/packer or in a similar warehouse role is a plus.
- Ability to perform physical tasks, including frequent Lifting of items up to 40 lbs.
- Strong attention to detail and a commitment to accuracy.
- Ability to work quickly and efficiently in a team environment.
- Basic understanding of warehouse logistics.
- Reliability and punctuality are essential.
- Willingness to adhere to all Safety regulations and wear required PPE.
