Join our vibrant team as a Fulfillment Associate in Portland, Oregon! In this role, you will be an integral part of our e-commerce fulfillment operations, ensuring that customer orders are accurately picked, packed, and shipped with speed and precision. You will contribute to the seamless flow of goods within our logistics network, making sure our customers receive their products on time and in perfect condition. Responsibilities:
- Accurately pick items for customer orders using RF scanners or pick lists.
- Pack items securely and efficiently for shipment, ensuring product protection during transit.
- Process incoming inventory, verifying quantities and quality against purchase orders.
- Maintain a clean and organized work area, adhering to all housekeeping and Safety standards.
- Operate material handling equipment safely, including pallet jacks and potentially forklifts.
- Conduct quality checks on outgoing shipments to ensure accuracy and presentation.
- Assist with inventory control tasks, such as cycle counts and stock replenishment.
- Follow all company guidelines and procedures for order fulfillment and logistics.
- Utilize appropriate PPE to ensure personal safety in the warehouse environment.
- Contribute to a positive and collaborative team atmosphere.
Qualifications:
Previous experience in a warehouse, fulfillment, or similar environment is preferred. Ability to read and understand pick lists and order details. Strong attention to detail and accuracy. Physical stamina to stand, walk, bend, and lift throughout the shift. Must be comfortable with regular Lifting of items up to 50 lbs. Familiarity with Safety procedures in a warehouse setting. Basic computer skills for using scanning equipment. Excellent teamwork and communication skills. Ability to work effectively in a fast-paced environment. A commitment to following instructions precisely. Understanding of logistics and supply chain processes is a plus. Reliability and punctuality are essential. Must be able to wear required PPE. This role is crucial for our customer satisfaction, requiring dedication to fulfilling orders accurately and efficiently. The ideal candidate will be proactive, able to work independently or as part of a team, and committed to maintaining a high standard of work. Your contribution to our logistics success is vital.
