This position is key to ensuring timely delivery and high customer satisfaction. You will utilize scanning technology and follow detailed order instructions to locate and pick items. The work environment is dynamic and fast-paced, requiring focus and a strong sense of responsibility. Your accuracy in picking directly impacts inventory control and order fulfillment rates. We place a high priority on safety, and all team members must strictly adhere to safety guidelines, including the mandatory use of Personal Protective Equipment (PPE). This role involves consistent physical activity, including frequent lifting, reaching, and standing for extended periods. Familiarity with warehouse equipment and logistics processes is beneficial, and comprehensive training will be provided. Responsibilities:
- Accurately pick items from warehouse locations based on order requirements.
- Use RF scanners to manage inventory and confirm picks.
- Verify product accuracy and quantity before staging for shipment.
- Maintain an organized and clean picking area.
- Adhere to all warehouse safety protocols and use designated PPE.
- Meet daily picking productivity targets.
- Collaborate with colleagues to ensure efficient order fulfillment.
- Report any stock discrepancies or damaged items.
- Assist with inventory counts as directed.
- Follow all instructions related to warehouse logistics and workflow.
- Perform tasks that require repetitive motion and regular lifting.
- Operate basic warehouse equipment as needed.
Qualifications:
High school diploma or equivalent.
Previous order picking experience is an advantage.
Ability to lift up to 50 lbs.
Strong attention to detail and accuracy.
Ability to work efficiently in a fast-paced environment.
Team player with good communication skills.
Commitment to adhering to safety regulations and using PPE.
