Join our thriving logistics team in Phoenix, Arizona, as a Forklift Operator! We are looking for a certified and experienced professional to manage the movement of goods within our busy warehouse. Your primary responsibilities will include operating forklifts safely and efficiently to load and unload trucks, move inventory, and support various warehouse functions. This role is critical for maintaining the smooth operation of our logistics chain. The ideal candidate will have a strong understanding of warehouse procedures, excellent spatial awareness, and a unwavering commitment to Safety. You will be expected to perform daily inspections of your equipment, adhere to all company Safety guidelines, and utilize all required PPE. The ability to perform regular Lifting of materials is also a key requirement for this position. We offer a competitive salary and a supportive work environment. Responsibilities:
- Operate forklifts (e.g., sit-down, stand-up, reach truck) safely and proficiently.
- Load and unload materials from delivery trucks and trailers.
- Transport inventory to and from storage areas, staging zones, and production lines.
- Perform routine checks and basic maintenance on forklifts, ensuring they are in good working order.
- Follow all Safety regulations and procedures, including the proper use of PPE.
- Assist with inventory management tasks, such as cycle counting and put-away.
- Maintain a clean and organized work environment.
- Collaborate effectively with warehouse associates and supervisors to ensure efficient operations.
- Valid forklift operator certification and proven experience.
- Thorough knowledge of warehouse operations and logistics principles.
- Ability to perform manual tasks and consistent Lifting of up to 50 lbs.
- Strong understanding of equipment operation and Safety best practices.
- Excellent attention to detail and problem-solving skills.
- Must be reliable, punctual, and able to work flexible hours if needed.
- High school diploma or equivalent.
