Are you a motivated individual with experience in material handling? We are hiring a Material Handler for our Baltimore, Maryland location. In this role, you will be responsible for the efficient movement of materials throughout our warehouse, ensuring that products are in the right place at the right time. This includes receiving, storing, picking, and preparing materials for shipment. You will work with various types of equipment and play a vital part in our overall logistics operations. A strong focus on Safety, attention to detail, and the ability to handle physical tasks, including consistent Lifting, are crucial. You will be expected to follow all guidelines for the correct use of PPE and maintain a safe working environment. This position offers a great opportunity to advance your career in the warehouse and logistics sector. Responsibilities:
- Move and transport materials within the warehouse using pallet jacks, dollies, or forklifts (if certified).
- Load and unload materials from trucks and containers.
- Organize and store materials in designated locations, ensuring proper stock rotation.
- Pick and prepare materials for outgoing shipments.
- Assist in cycle counts and inventory audits.
- Ensure all materials are handled carefully to prevent damage.
- Adhere to all company Safety policies and procedures, including the mandatory use of PPE.
- Maintain a clean and safe work environment.
- Previous experience as a Material Handler or in a similar warehouse role.
- Ability to perform physical tasks, including frequent Lifting of up to 50 lbs.
- Familiarity with warehouse equipment and tools.
- Understanding of logistics and inventory management principles.
- Commitment to Safety and experience with using PPE.
- Good communication and teamwork skills.
- Ability to work in a fast-paced environment.
- High school diploma or equivalent.
