We are actively seeking motivated Material Handlers for our state-of-the-art facility in Las Vegas, Nevada! In this critical role, you will be responsible for the efficient movement of materials, ensuring accurate tracking and timely distribution throughout the warehouse. Your contributions are vital to our logistics operations, and a strong emphasis on safety is expected.
Responsibilities:
- Receive, identify, and stage incoming materials.
- Load and unload materials from trucks and other conveyances.
- Move materials to and from production, storage, and shipping areas using appropriate equipment.
- Maintain accurate inventory records and report any discrepancies.
- Operate forklifts, pallet jacks, and other warehouse machinery safely and efficiently.
- Ensure all work areas are clean, organized, and free of hazards.
- Adhere strictly to all company safety policies and procedures.
- Wear appropriate PPE at all times as required by the job function and company policy.
- Assist with other warehouse duties and support team members as needed.
Qualifications:
- Previous experience as a Material Handler or in a similar warehouse role is required.
- Ability to perform heavy lifting (up to 60 lbs) and stand/walk for extended periods.
- Familiarity with warehouse management systems and logistics software is a plus.
- Knowledge of warehouse operations and safety best practices.
- Good communication and teamwork skills.
- Must be able to work in a fast-paced environment and adapt to changing schedules.
- Commitment to maintaining a high standard of workplace safety and correct use of PPE .
- Must pass a background check and drug screening.
