We are hiring an Order Picker for our busy warehouse in San Jose, California. As an integral part of our logistics team, you will be responsible for accurately retrieving items from warehouse shelves to fulfill customer orders. This role demands efficiency, accuracy, and a strong commitment to safety. You will use scanning technology to track inventory and ensure order integrity. Key Responsibilities:
- Accurately select products from warehouse inventory according to pick lists or scanner prompts.
- Verify items picked against order details to ensure accuracy.
- Stage orders for packing and shipment.
- Operate pallet jacks and other manual equipment safely.
- Maintain a clean and organized work area.
- Adhere strictly to all safety protocols and company policies.
- Participate in inventory cycle counts as needed.
- Meet established productivity and accuracy goals.
- Report any inventory discrepancies or equipment issues.
- Properly use all required PPE.
Requirements:
- High school diploma or equivalent.
- Ability to read and interpret pick lists and product labels.
- Physical ability to stand, walk, bend, and reach throughout the shift.
- Capability for regular lifting, up to 40 lbs.
- Strong attention to detail and a commitment to accuracy.
- Basic understanding of warehouse logistics is a plus.
- Ability to work efficiently in a fast-paced setting.
- Willingness to comply with all safety regulations and wear appropriate PPE.
- Previous order picking experience is preferred but not required.
- Reliable attendance and a positive attitude.
