Key Responsibilities:
- Perform routine preventive maintenance on all warehouse equipment.
- Diagnose and repair mechanical, electrical, and hydraulic issues.
- Conduct regular safety inspections and ensure compliance with safety standards.
- Maintain accurate records of all maintenance and repair activities.
- Operate equipment safely when necessary for testing and repair.
- Ensure all work areas are kept clean and organized.
- Adhere to all company safety policies and procedures, including proper use of PPE.
- Assist in training other staff on basic equipment operation and safety.
- Manage spare parts inventory and order replacements as needed.
- Stay updated on best practices in warehouse equipment maintenance and safety.
Requirements:
- High school diploma or equivalent; technical certification or Associate's degree in a related field preferred.
- Proven experience as a maintenance technician in a warehouse or industrial setting.
- Strong mechanical, electrical, and hydraulic troubleshooting skills.
- Proficiency with diagnostic tools and equipment.
- Knowledge of OSHA regulations and warehouse safety standards.
- Ability to read and interpret technical manuals and schematics.
- Capacity for moderate lifting, up to 50 lbs.
- Excellent problem-solving abilities and attention to detail.
- Ability to work independently and manage time effectively.
- Commitment to wearing appropriate PPE and following all safety guidelines.
