You will be responsible for managing all aspects of outgoing shipments, including preparing documentation, verifying order details, packaging items correctly, and coordinating with transportation providers. Accuracy and efficiency are key to this position, as you will directly impact customer satisfaction and operational flow. A strong focus on Safety is maintained, with all employees expected to follow established protocols and utilize provided Personal Protective Equipment (PPE). This position may involve some physical duties, such as the occasional Lifting of packages for preparation and loading. Responsibilities:
- Process and prepare all outgoing shipments accurately.
- Generate shipping labels and relevant shipping documents.
- Verify that package contents match order information.
- Package products securely for transit.
- Coordinate with carriers for timely pickups.
- Maintain up-to-date shipping records.
- Ensure compliance with all shipping regulations and Safety guidelines.
- Communicate effectively with internal departments and external partners.
Requirements:
- High school diploma or GED required.
- Experience in shipping, logistics, or a related administrative role is preferred.
- Familiarity with shipping software and carrier systems.
- Strong organizational skills and meticulous attention to detail.
- Ability to handle moderate physical tasks, including occasional Lifting of up to 40 lbs.
- Good communication and problem-solving abilities.
- Commitment to maintaining a safe work environment.
- Willingness to use all required PPE.
