We are seeking a detail-oriented Inventory Control Specialist to join our team in Phoenix, Arizona. In this critical role, you will be responsible for maintaining the accuracy and integrity of our inventory, ensuring that our warehouse and logistics operations run smoothly and efficiently. Your duties will include conducting cycle counts, investigating inventory discrepancies, reconciling stock levels, and implementing process improvements to enhance inventory accuracy. You will work closely with warehouse staff and management to identify and resolve issues related to stock management. A strong emphasis on Safety is required, and you must adhere to all company Safety policies and guidelines, including the proper use of Personal Protective Equipment (PPE). While this role may involve some light Lifting, the primary focus is on data accuracy and procedural compliance. Experience with inventory management software and a thorough understanding of warehouse logistics are essential. This is an excellent opportunity for someone with a keen eye for detail to contribute significantly to our operational success.
Responsibilities:
- Conduct regular cycle counts and physical inventory audits.
- Investigate and resolve inventory discrepancies.
- Reconcile stock levels with system data.
- Maintain accurate inventory records in the warehouse management system (WMS).
- Identify root causes of inventory inaccuracies and recommend corrective actions.
- Implement and improve inventory control procedures.
- Collaborate with warehouse and logistics teams to ensure accurate stock flow.
- Adhere to all Safety regulations and utilize appropriate PPE.
- Perform occasional light Lifting as required for stock verification.
- Contribute to the overall efficiency and accuracy of our logistics operations.
Qualifications:
- Proven experience in inventory control or a similar role.
- Proficiency with warehouse management systems (WMS) and inventory software.
- Strong analytical and problem-solving skills.
- Excellent attention to detail and accuracy.
- Understanding of warehouse Safety procedures.
- Ability to perform basic math calculations.
- Good communication and interpersonal skills.
- Must be able to wear and use required PPE.
- Knowledge of logistics and supply chain principles.
- Ability to perform light Lifting as needed.
