We are seeking an experienced and results-driven Warehouse Supervisor to lead our team in the bustling metropolis of New York City, New York. As Warehouse Supervisor, you will be responsible for managing all aspects of warehouse operations, including staff supervision, inventory control, order fulfillment, and ensuring the highest standards of Safety and efficiency in our logistics center. The ideal candidate will possess strong leadership qualities, excellent organizational skills, and a deep understanding of warehouse management best practices. You will motivate your team to achieve performance targets, implement process improvements, and maintain a safe and productive work environment. A commitment to upholding rigorous Safety protocols and ensuring the proper use of Personal Protective Equipment (PPE) by all staff is paramount. This role requires a strategic thinker who can effectively manage resources and drive operational excellence within the fast-paced logistics industry. While leadership is key, you may also be involved in hands-on tasks, including moderate Lifting. Responsibilities:
- Oversee and manage daily warehouse operations and staff.
- Develop and implement strategies to improve efficiency and productivity.
- Ensure accurate inventory management and control.
- Monitor and manage order fulfillment processes.
- Enforce all company Safety policies and procedures rigorously.
- Conduct regular training sessions for warehouse personnel.
- Coordinate with other departments and external logistics partners.
- Manage receiving, warehousing, and distribution activities.
- Ensure compliance with all PPE requirements and Safety regulations.
- Participate in tasks involving moderate Lifting and material handling as needed.
Qualifications:
- High school diploma or equivalent required; Bachelor's degree in Logistics, Supply Chain Management, or a related field preferred.
- Proven experience in a warehouse supervisory role.
- Strong leadership, management, and team-building skills.
- In-depth knowledge of warehouse operations, inventory management, and logistics.
- Excellent problem-solving and decision-making abilities.
- Commitment to a strong Safety culture and adherence to all protocols.
- Ability to perform moderate Lifting.
- Effective communication and interpersonal skills.
- Proficiency in warehouse management software.
- Must ensure strict adherence to all PPE guidelines.
