We are hiring motivated Warehouse Workers for our facility in Fort Worth, Texas. This role is integral to our daily operations, supporting the efficient movement of goods within our distribution center. You will be responsible for a variety of tasks, including receiving inbound freight, accurately stocking inventory, fulfilling customer orders by picking and packing, and preparing items for shipment. A keen eye for detail, a strong commitment to safety, and the ability to work effectively in a dynamic logistics environment are crucial. This position requires physical exertion, including frequent lifting, and adherence to all safety protocols, including the proper use of PPE. You will be a key player in ensuring the smooth flow of goods and maintaining accurate inventory records. Responsibilities:
- Accept and unload deliveries, verifying contents against shipping documents.
- Place received goods into appropriate warehouse storage locations.
- Retrieve items from inventory to fulfill customer orders (picking).
- Package orders accurately and efficiently for shipment (packing).
- Label packages and prepare them for pickup by carriers.
- Maintain cleanliness and orderliness of the warehouse floor and storage areas.
- Participate in inventory cycle counts and stocktaking.
- Strictly follow all safety regulations and utilize necessary PPE.
- Support overall logistics operations and collaborate with team members.
- Contribute to achieving operational targets and maintaining high standards.
Qualifications:
- High school diploma or equivalent.
- Previous warehouse or general labor experience is advantageous.
- Capability to handle physical tasks, including frequent lifting of up to 50 lbs.
- Strong sense of responsibility and punctuality.
- Familiarity with warehouse safety practices and PPE.
- Ability to work efficiently in a fast-paced setting.
- Good teamwork and communication abilities.
- Willingness to learn and adapt to new tasks.
- Commitment to a safe working environment.
