Join our expanding logistics operation as a Material Handler in Durham, North Carolina! We are looking for dedicated individuals to support our warehouse functions, ensuring the seamless flow of goods. This position is vital to our success, involving the movement and organization of products, from receiving to dispatch. You will be responsible for ensuring all materials are handled with care and efficiency, contributing to our reputation for excellence. You will be required to wear appropriate PPE at all times while on the warehouse floor. Key Responsibilities:
- Receive, unload, and inspect incoming shipments for accuracy and damage.
- Sort, stack, and store materials in designated warehouse locations.
- Operate forklifts, pallet jacks, and other warehouse equipment as needed.
- Pick and prepare orders for shipment, ensuring accuracy and timeliness.
- Assist in maintaining accurate inventory counts and stock levels.
- Maintain a clean, organized, and safe work area, adhering to all Safety protocols.
- Load outgoing shipments onto trucks for delivery.
- Collaborate with team members and supervisors to achieve operational goals.
- Comply with all company policies, including those regarding PPE and Lifting.
Ability to perform Lifting of items up to 50 lbs frequently. Experience in Logistics or warehouse environments is a plus. Must have a strong commitment to Safety. Excellent teamwork and communication skills. Ability to work in a fast-paced environment. Previous experience with material handling equipment is beneficial.
