Create and develop integrated edge cloud solutions that leverage Oracle Cloud Infrastructure (OCI), Compute Cloud Customer, Roving Edge devices, and various public cloud technologies. Champion solutions that meet industry-specific standards across multiple sectors, utilizing Oracle technologies along with external applications. Develop in-depth solution papers, technical documents, enablement materials, blogs, reference architectures, demonstrations, and case studies.
Collaborative Team Engagement:
Work in tandem with internal teams such as development, support, QA, and product management to design, test, and enhance edge cloud solutions. Collaborate with third-party vendors to certify and seamlessly integrate their applications with Oracle Edge Cloud platforms, maintaining interoperability and security standards.
Customer-Focused Solutions:
Serve as a senior technical contributor to strategic and regulated customers, understanding their requirements and crafting custom architectures that align with their business objectives. Lead workshops, proofs of concept, and strategic planning sessions, ensuring smooth customer onboarding and contributing to their long-term success.
Hybrid Cloud Expertise:
Utilize your experience across various cloud platforms (AWS, Azure, GCP) to design hybrid and multicloud solutions that effectively integrate Oracle's edge and public cloud offerings.
Essential Qualifications: Citizenship Requirement:
U.S. Citizenship is required.
Security Clearance:
Capability to obtain and maintain TS/SCI eligibility.
Technical Expertise:
Over 10 years of experience in architecting scalable solutions across various public and private cloud environments, with proven track record in delivering edge cloud solutions using OCI, Compute Cloud@Customer, and Roving Edge devices.
Compliance Experience:
Previous work in secure, regulated, or sovereign environments is necessary.
Industry Insight:
Comprehensive understanding of edge cloud solutions across sectors such as government, defense, telecommunications, healthcare, and finance, including compliance and security requirements.
AI and ML Knowledge:
Comfort with machine learning concepts, generative AI, MLOps, and applications of distributed or edge technologies is advantageous.
Strategic Vision:
Strong capability to align technical solutions with customer business goals and long-term strategies. Experience in presales and senior-level engagement is preferred.
Educational Background:
Bachelor's degree and master's degree in Computer Science, Engineering, or a related field are required.
