Job Summary: We are seeking a highly skilled and motivated Physician Assistant to join our medical team. As a Physician Assistant, you will work closely with physicians and other healthcare professionals to provide comprehensive patient care. Your role will involve diagnosing and treating illnesses, conducting physical examinations, ordering and interpreting diagnostic tests, and assisting in surgical procedures. The ideal candidate will have a strong background in radiation therapy, clinical research, IV infusion, gastric lavage, hospital procedures, medical coding, catheterization, research, DME (Durable Medical Equipment), and home care. Responsibilities: - Conduct thorough patient assessments, including medical history review and physical examinations - Order and interpret diagnostic tests such as X-rays, laboratory tests, and MRIs - Develop and implement treatment plans for patients with acute and chronic conditions - Perform minor surgical procedures under the supervision of a physician - Administer medications and IV infusions as prescribed - Provide patient education on disease prevention, treatment options, and medication management - Collaborate with physicians and other healthcare professionals to coordinate patient care - Document patient encounters accurately and timely in electronic medical records - Participate in clinical research studies and contribute to evidence-based practice Skills: - Proficiency in radiation therapy techniques - Knowledge of clinical research methodologies - Experience with IV infusion administration - Ability to perform gastric lavage procedures - Familiarity with hospital protocols and procedures - Strong understanding of medical coding and billing practices - Competence in catheterization techniques - Excellent research skills for literature reviews and data analysis - Familiarity with DME (Durable Medical Equipment) usage and maintenance - Knowledge of home care practices for post-operative or chronically ill patients If you are a dedicated Physician Assistant looking to make a difference in patient care, we encourage you to apply.
