IC DESIGN VALIDATION ENGINEER

As an IC Design Validation Engineer, you are responsible for hands‑on silicon bring‑up, debug, bench characterization, and technical support of AMD RFSoC and RF data converter products.

You have a passion for working with complex products incorporating RF, analog, digital and software elements. You are a team player with excellent communication skills. You possess strong analytical and problem‑solving skills and are willing to learn and take on new challenges.

• 
  
• Work closely with RF, analog, digital and software engineers to develop and debug tests under a range of operating conditions.
  
• Reproduce any issues that require investigation in a controlled lab environment and isolate root causes.
  
• Document and present findings clearly to a wider design team, enabling further investigation and communications to customers.
  
• Contribute technical insight during reviews, debug meetings, and escalation discussions.
  
• Perform bench‑level bring‑up and characterization of RFSoC and RF data converter products silicon.
  

• 
  
• Experience using lab instrumentation such as oscilloscopes, power supplies, and other measurement equipment.
  
• Familiar with RF test equipment and methods.
  
• Familiar with FPGAs, Digital Signal Processing and software for automated testing.
  
• Ideally have hands‑on experience with bench‑level silicon debug and characterization.

• Bachelors or Masters degree (or higher) in Electrical Engineering, Electronics Engineering, or a related field.
