Mixed-Signal Design Engineer

We are working with an innovative engineering organisation developing advanced electronic systems for high-performance embedded platforms. Due to continued growth within the R&D team, they are seeking an experienced Senior Mixed-Signal Electronics Design Engineer to lead the design and development of complex electronic hardware solutions.

This role will involve designing robust mixed-signal systems, working across high-speed digital, analog, and power architectures, and supporting products from concept through to production.

As a Senior Mixed-Signal Electronics Design Engineer, you will play a key role in the design and delivery of complex hardware subsystems used within embedded platforms. You will work closely with multidisciplinary engineering teams to ensure reliable, manufacturable, and high-performance designs.

• Lead the design and development of complex electronic hardware solutions for embedded platforms.
  
• Collaborate with multidisciplinary engineering teams to ensure reliable, manufacturable, and high-performance designs.
  
• Support products from concept through to production lifecycle.
  

• 
  
• Essential: Strong experience in mixed-signal electronics design.
  
• Experience designing high-speed digital interfaces and embedded communication systems.
  
• Strong understanding of signal integrity and power integrity principles.
  
• Experience with schematic capture and PCB layout for complex multi-layer boards.
  
• Experience integrating microcontrollers or microprocessors within embedded hardware systems.
  
• Knowledge of analog circuit design, including sensor interfaces and signal conditioning.
  
• Experience with hardware debugging and validation using oscilloscopes, logic analysers, and related tools.
  
• Understanding of EMC/EMI considerations in electronic design.
  
• Familiarity with DFM/DFA principles and supporting products through production.

• Desirable: Experience working with advanced PCB technologies such as HDI or flex designs.
  
• Exposure to power electronics or battery-powered systems.
  
• Experience supporting certification or regulatory compliance activities.
  
• Experience working within multidisciplinary engineering teams.
