Position Summary

We are seeking a dedicated and compassionate Primary Care Physician (MD/DO) to join our growing practice in Venice, Florida. The ideal candidate will provide comprehensive primary care services, manage acute and chronic conditions, and coordinate care with specialists to ensure optimal patient outcomes.

Key Responsibilities

• Provide high-quality primary medical care to adult patients
• Perform patient evaluations, physical examinations, and diagnostic assessments
• Diagnose and manage acute illnesses and chronic medical conditions
• Develop and implement individualized treatment plans
• Order and interpret laboratory tests and diagnostic studies
• Emphasize preventive care, wellness, and patient education
• Maintain accurate and timely electronic medical records (EMR)
• Collaborate closely with cardiologists and other specialists within the practice
• Ensure compliance with all clinical, ethical, and regulatory standards

Qualifications & Requirements

• MD or DO degree from an accredited medical school
• Completion of an accredited residency in Family Medicine or Internal Medicine
• Board Certified or Board Eligible
• Active Florida medical license (or eligibility for licensure)
• DEA certification (or eligibility)
• Excellent clinical judgment and communication skills
• Strong commitment to patient-centered care

Preferred Qualifications

• Experience in outpatient primary care
• Familiarity with EMR systems
• Interest in working in a multidisciplinary or cardiology-focused practice
• Ability to manage Medicare and geriatric patient populations
