• Third level degree in Business, Finance, Commerce, or other relevant discipline
• Willingness to learn, work as part of a team, and contribute to the team and organisation’s goals and objectives
• Familiarity with financial services or funds industry is an advantage
• Proficiency in MS Excel and data analytics tools is an advantage
• Experience working in an office environment is an advantage

• Supporting the Group Internal Audit team by assisting with internal audit assignments as part of delivery of the Group Internal Audit Plan
• Performing work in accordance with the Internal Audit Department’s standards, methodologies, and processes
• Helping to identify the relevant risks and regulatory requirements relevant to each audit
• Contributing to internal audit operations, including projects and quality assurance
• Building relationships with people within the different areas of Carne’s business to enhance the profile and value of Group Internal Audit
• Building trust and credibility with the business by demonstrating a professional approach
• Building knowledge of regulatory requirements
• Developing a good understanding of management companies and the funds industry
• Assisting the preparation of high-quality written internal audit reports
• Contributing to innovation within the Group Internal Audit team with insights and ideas for a dynamic team

• Excellent people skills, analytical thinking, and intellectual curiosity
• Strong work ethic and very organised
• Effective time management skills and ability to manage deadlines
• Initiative-taker who can bring ideas to the table and can challenge the status quo
• Excellent communication skills
