TITLE: Resolution Specialist

GENERAL FUNCTION

Implement and perform effective risk management strategies for all non-performing accounts to protect the assets of the Credit Union. Adhere to policies and procedures, state and federal laws, and regulations in the collections process.

MAJOR RESPONSIBILITIES

  2. Represent the Credit Union in a friendly, outgoing, positive and professional manner. Provide prompt, efficient and confidential service in the processing of information.
  3. Perform effective and efficient collection of all non-performing accounts.
  4. Demonstrate a high level of accountability in taking complete ownership of every interaction whether it requires a call back, extended research or assistance from other teams until the task is complete.
  5. Provide exceptional member service over the phone and via email, demonstrating a willingness and interest to help through a friendly tone of voice and electronic communication.
  6. Provide members with financial counseling as needed. Compassionately educate members on ways to improve their credit or debt scenario and offer additional tools to assist.
  7. Process and monitor all health and disability claims.
  8. Process all repossessions and foreclosure actions.
  9. Skillfully handle and resolve difficult member situations within appropriate guidelines and procedures. Enlist management in successful member resolution, if necessary.
  10. Control and administer attorney, bankruptcy, and delinquent member accounts.
  11. Administer all small claim court cases from service of writ to judgment
  12. Work post judgment recovery, including but not limited to;
