Description
Assess a diverse range of patients through expert observational techniques and standardized assessments. Craft individualized treatment plans that address immediate and long-term communication, cognitive-linguistic, or swallowing goals. Deliver focused speech therapy sessions targeting language, voice, fluency, and swallowing. Collaborate with multidisciplinary teams including physical therapists, occupational therapists, nurses, and family members to establish seamless care strategies. Educate patients and their families to support progress and enhance understanding outside of therapy sessions. Conduct sporadic inpatient speech therapy evaluations and interventions, ensuring continued care during the rehabilitation journey. Document treatment accurately and timely, adhering to state, federal, and organizational regulations. Engage in ongoing education and collaboration to remain at the cutting edge of advancements in the field. Education
Master's degree in Speech-Language Pathology from an accredited institution. Completion of a supervised Clinical Fellowship Year (CFY), if not ASHA-certified. Certifications
State licensure as a Speech Language Pathologist. Certificate of Clinical Competence (CCC-SLP) from ASHA is preferred. Must obtain Basic Life Support (BLS) certification within 30 days of hire. Skills

Positive interpersonal communication skills with patients, families, and care teams from varying disciplines. Ability to tailor therapy methods to accommodate cultural and linguistic diversity.
