Join us as a *Computed Tomography Technologist (CT) *at the *Syracuse VA Medical Center *located in *Syracuse, NY.*
*Duties may include but are not limited to:*
· Perform estimated +/- 20 cases per day.
* Performs organ-specific and subspecialty-specific imaging including:
* CT abdomen I- and I+
* Low dose chest CT
* Chest CT I- I+
* CT Head, neck, chest I- I+
* CT cervical, thoracic, lumbar spine
* CT Cystogram
* CT facial bones
* CT IVP
* CT PE protocol
* CTA of the head
* CTA neck
* CTA abdomen, pelvis
* CT GI Bleed
* CT soft-tissue neck
* CT post EVAR
* CT renal mass
* CT IAC
* CT biopsies
* Performs related administrative tasks.
*Schedule: *Part-time, 8-hour shifts. Typical clinic hours 8A-4:30P Mon-Fri. On-call, evenings, weekends, and holidays required as needed.
*Period of Performance: *6 months, (estimated 4/5/2026-10/4/2026). One 6-month renewal available through 4/4/2027.
*Qualifications:*
* *Education. *Minimum high school diploma or equivalent required. Associate’s Degree in Radiology Technology or related field preferred.
* *Certification.* ARRT w/ required specialty Computed Tomography (CT) and Diagnostic X-ray certifications required. BLS required.
* *Experience. *Minimum 3 years of recent experience in CT Technologist or related field required.
* No sponsorship available.
* Must be proficient in spoken and written English in accordance with VA Handbook 5005, Part II, Chapter 3, Section A, paragraph 3.j.
* Subject to background/security investigation.
* Must pass TB test.
* Complete an online onboarding process.
* Willingness to comply with Department of Veterans Affairs vaccination programs for seasonal influenza and COVID-19.
* Selective Service Registration is required for males born after 12/31/1959.
* Must be authorized to work in the United States.

Monterey teams with general practice, specialists, and allied health practitioners nationwide to provide local coverage for examinees. We deliver a wide range of medical examination-only services to public sectors and the individuals they serve. Our clients include the Department of Veteran Affairs (VA), the Department of Labor, the Department of Defense, and more. Our provider network consists of over 700 providers in various medical specialties and degree types. They conduct diagnostic-only examination services on an as-needed basis. These services may take place in their private office, established clinics located across the country, or during travel opportunities for group screening events.
