Job Summary:
Are you a certified and experienced Forklift Operator looking for a challenging opportunity in Colorado Springs, Colorado? We are seeking a skilled individual to operate forklifts and other material handling equipment safely and efficiently within our busy warehouse. This role is vital to our logistics operations, ensuring the smooth flow of goods from receiving to shipping. You will be responsible for moving, locating, relocating, stacking, and staging products. Safety is our top priority, and we are committed to providing a secure working environment for all our employees.
Responsibilities:
  • Safely operate forklifts (e.g., sit-down, stand-up, reach trucks) to move materials throughout the warehouse.
  • Load and unload trucks and trailers.
  • Transport raw materials, finished goods, and other materials to and from designated storage areas.
  • Accurately complete all required paperwork and data entry related to forklift operations and inventory.
  • Perform pre-operation inspections of forklifts and report any maintenance issues immediately.
  • Maintain a clean and organized work area, adhering to all safety regulations.
  • Assist with inventory control tasks, including cycle counts and stock placement.
  • Understand and follow all warehouse safety procedures, including the proper use of Personal Protective Equipment (PPE).
  • Must be capable of regular lifting and maneuvering of items up to 60 lbs.

Qualifications:
  • Valid forklift operator certification (e.g., OSHA compliant).
  • Proven experience as a forklift operator in a warehouse or distribution environment.
  • Excellent knowledge of warehouse safety practices and procedures.
  • Ability to read and interpret product labels, shipping documents, and safety warnings.
  • Strong understanding of logistics and inventory management principles.
  • Physical ability to perform the duties of the job, including frequent lifting and operating machinery.
  • Must be reliable, punctual, and able to work independently or as part of a team.
  • High school diploma or equivalent.
  • Commitment to maintaining a safe work environment.
