We are seeking a dynamic and detail-oriented Test Engineer to join our innovative software development team. In this role, you will be instrumental in ensuring the quality, functionality, and performance of our cutting-edge applications across multiple platforms. Your expertise will drive the testing processes, from manual to automated testing, and support continuous improvement in our SDLC (Software Development Life Cycle). **
* Design, develop, and execute comprehensive test plans and test cases for mobile and web applications, ensuring coverage of functional, system, performance, and user acceptance testing.
* Implement and maintain automated test scripts using tools such as Selenium, TestNG, JUnit, Cucumber, and Appium to streamline testing workflows.
* Conduct rigorous testing of mobile applications on Android and iOS platforms, including UI/UX validation and compatibility assessments.
* Perform API testing utilizing RESTful APIs with tools like Postman or SoapUI; analyze API responses for correctness and performance.
* Collaborate with cross-functional teams to gather requirements, define acceptance criteria, and ensure quality standards are met throughout the development process.
* Utilize version control systems such as GitHub, GitLab, or SVN to manage test scripts and documentation efficiently.
* Analyze test results using data analysis skills and SQL/MySQL/Oracle databases to identify root causes of issues; troubleshoot software defects promptly.
* Support continuous integration/continuous deployment (CI/CD) pipelines with Jenkins or Azure DevOps to facilitate rapid release cycles.
* Conduct performance testing using LoadRunner or similar tools to evaluate system stability under load conditions.
* Participate in Agile/Scrum ceremonies to provide feedback on quality metrics and improve testing strategies.
**
* Proven experience in software testing with a strong understanding of SDLC methodologies such as Agile and Waterfall.
* Proficiency in test automation frameworks using Selenium WebDriver, TestNG, JUnit, Cucumber, or similar tools.
* Hands-on experience testing mobile applications on Android and iOS platforms; familiarity with Appium is preferred.
* Solid knowledge of RESTful APIs, SOAP web services, JSON/XML data formats, and API testing tools like Postman or SoapUI.
* Strong scripting skills in JavaScript, Python, Bash (Unix shell), or C# for automation purposes.
* Familiarity with version control systems including GitHub, GitLab, SVN; experience with Jenkins or Azure DevOps for CI/CD pipelines.
* Ability to perform root cause analysis using SQL/PL/SQL/MySQL/Microsoft SQL Server databases; excellent data analysis skills.
* Knowledge of performance testing tools such as LoadRunner; understanding of system architecture including service-oriented architecture (SOA) and cloud platforms like AWS or Azure is a plus.
* Excellent problem-solving skills with attention to detail; strong communication skills for collaborating across teams.

Pay: $77,279.09 - $123,067.29 per year
