for an opportunity in Englewood, Colorado.
Location : Fully onsite in Englewood, CO Duration : 12 months, W2 position
Position description:
The
Technical Systems Administrator
is responsible for effective provisioning, installation/configuration, operation, and maintenance of systems hardware and software and related infrastructure both located within the Business Area Network and Internet based. This individual participates in technical research and development to enable continuing innovation within the infrastructure. This individual ensures that system hardware, operating systems, software systems, and related procedures adhere to organizational values, enabling staff, Partners, and customers. You will be part of the team that provides the company and its business areas with strategic direction and business support spanning executive management, finance and accounting, operations, human resources, legal, IT, information security, facilities, marketing, and communications. Required knowledge, skills, and abilities:
Bachelor's Degree in a related field of study
Higher education may substitute for relevant experience Relevant experience may be considered in lieu of required education
Experience in developing applications in iOS, Microsoft, Linux, JavaScript, Angular.js, WebRTC preferred.
10+ years of practical experience in implementing Product Development Suite of tools 10+ years implementing tools and processes associated with MBSE (NoMagic, CATIA Magic, RELEX, etc.), CAD Driven Product Lifecycle Management (PLM) structure development in support of engineering, manufacturing and sustainment of the company's programs/product lines Skilled in driving digital transformation/implementation projects over months and years by being involved in vision strategy session; Distilling those inputs into an actionable technical roadmap options what are able to be implemented multiple times and adapt to evolving business demands as the realization of implementation benefits occur
About the team: The corporate team performs the following:
Influence and participate as an active Change Board Approver for the maintenance of Product Development Engineering tools in all capacities that include, but not limited to: configuring, installing new hardware/software, performing upgrades to existing servers & software, coordinating the introduction of additional servers and storage to the network, following security policies and procedures, and performing other technical duties as needed Oversee Product Development platform infrastructure support for suites within CAD, PLM, MBSE, etc. Experience with Dassault Suite of tools is preferred (NoMagic, CATIA, 3DExpereince, Delmia, etc.) Implement Product Development general business application support workflows and methods; prefer ServiceNow or JIRA Help Desk Experience with implementing Engineering Tool Administration practices. Oversee documentation of network server configurations, application licensing agreements, and other third-party software installed Responsible for ensuring backup systems processes and procedures are in place and monitored for Product Development Software Document repair/maintenance and change requests through IS department ticketing system Escalation point for on call/after-hours support for Product Development Suite of Tools Work closely with the Application team and Development team to drive tactical implementation of technical roadmap for Product Development tools Plan, oversee and signoff in testing new software and hardware for the company's Product Development Software Suite; responsible to ensure the company Standard Practices are followed by Vendor Development Partners. Good documentation and communication skills Build prototype and test systems for demo and testing Acts as primary technical interface with the company Business Area Process SME's, the company IT and Vendors to ensure that clear communication and timely resolution of open issues and bugs is implemented Structure BOM may include but not limited to 3D mechanical CAD (CATIA, SolidWorks, etc.), 3D Electrical (CATIA Electrical, Zuken E3, AutoCAD) along with MS Excel imported mechanical and electrical Parts List data and library parts Works with local and other individual company sites in support of tool implementation, user training, system administration, and data migration Function as Enterprise ECAD and MCAD librarian and components engineer as availability allows Understand, plan, and execute technical activities in accordance with the company policies, procedures, and work instructions and specific Customer requirements Originate and/or revise process documents in support of PLM and development activities Interested?
