Our growing logistics operation in Huntsville, Alabama, is looking for a dedicated Warehouse Worker to support our daily functions. This role is fundamental to ensuring smooth and efficient warehouse operations. Responsibilities:
- Accept deliveries, check for accuracy, and document any damages or shortages.
- Organize and stock inventory in the correct locations within the warehouse.
- Assemble orders for shipment, ensuring accuracy and proper packaging.
- Operate material handling equipment safely and efficiently.
- Participate in inventory cycle counts and full physical inventories.
- Keep the warehouse clean, organized, and free from hazards.
- Assist with the loading and unloading of vehicles.
- Communicate effectively with team members and supervisors to achieve operational goals.
- Follow all company safety protocols and use required PPE.
Qualifications:
- High school diploma or equivalent.
- Prior experience in a warehouse or similar environment is beneficial.
- Capability to handle frequent lifting, with a maximum of 50 lbs.
- Basic knowledge of inventory control.
- Understanding of workplace safety regulations and the importance of PPE.
- Good interpersonal skills and ability to work as part of a team.
- Ability to adapt to changing priorities and work under pressure.
- Punctuality and a dependable work ethic are essential.
