As we continue our journey toward becoming Ireland’s most trusted and sustainable business, we have an exciting opportunity for a successful candidate to join our team as a Technical Project Manager.

The purpose of this role is to provide technical, architectural, and delivery leadership for the establishment and long-term evolution of Musgrave's Operational Data Platform (ODP). The role exists to ensure Musgrave builds a modern, scalable, secure and governed data foundation that enables critical programmes such as Omega, Relex, CORE, and future enterprise initiatives.

This role acts as the single point of accountability for translating business, architectural and program requirements into a coherent, enterprise-grade data platform roadmap. It blends data architecture expertise with technical programme ownership, ensuring the ODP is designed, built, and operated in a way that is strategically aligned, technically sound, cost-effective, and resilient.

• Own the strategic direction and delivery of the Operational Data Platform (ODP).
  
• Lead cross-functional technical execution across data engineering.

• Architecture Leadership: Own the architectural integrity of the ODP, ensuring it is designed as a scalable, governed, operational data platform.
  
• End-to-End Delivery Ownership & Program Orchestration: Act as the central orchestrator across Musgrave teams to deliver ODP capabilities on time, with the right quality.
  
• Governance: Define, implement and enforce the technical and data governance needed to ensure the platform is trusted, supportable, and non-fragmented.
  
• Operational Readiness: Ensure that ODP can be supported as a production-grade operational platform.
  
• Architecture Alignment: Ensure alignment to the Universal Data Platform architecture.
  
• Stakeholder Alignment: Drive clarity, alignment, and decision-making across technical and business stakeholders.
  
• Vendor Partnership: Work closely with our Vendor Partner to ensure successful delivery of this project.

• Successful on-time delivery of E2E Data engineering solution for the Operational Data platform.
  
• Successful management and collaboration with the ODP vendor project team.
  
• Ensuring new ODP Platform meets key production performance SLA’s and availability.
  
• ODP enablement of key Omega Projects.
  

• 
  
• Third level IT qualification
  
• 15+ years broad IT experience (Product Delivery and Data Architecture roles)
  
• Project team management experience.
  
• Cross-Functional Program Leadership in a Complex Enterprise.
  
• Driving decisions in ambiguous, multi-stakeholder environments.
  
• Vendor / Partner Delivery Management.
  
• Balance the long-term (“big picture”) and short-term implications of individual decisions and organisation goals.
  
• Technical Architecture Literacy (Data Platforms, Delta Lake, Azure).
  
• Technical Program Leadership & Delivery Orchestration.
  
• Data Governance, Standards, and Quality Leadership.
  
• High-quality stakeholder management & communication.
