General Manager

Mapped Recruitment are working with an established, international Advertising related business who are seeking a commercially driven and ambitious General Managers/Operations Directors to lead its Irish head office operation.

This is a senior leadership opportunity with full responsibility for the performance of a €9m Irish business operating within a wider €140m European group

We are keen to speak to strategic, head-office General Manager's experienced in leading structured, operations-led or ideally project-based/B2B businesses.

Reporting directly to the CEO, you will act as one of the most senior leaders in Ireland, running the business with autonomy while aligning closely with European group strategy.

• Lead the Ireland business day-to-day, ensuring operational excellence across all functions
  
• Build, manage, and develop a high-performing team of c.10 employees, including a Head of Projects and Procurement team
  
• Foster a culture of trust, accountability, collaboration, and delivery
  
• Act as the senior escalation point for operational and client matters
  

• 
  
• Maintain strong relationships with key clients and partners
  
• Manage complex client issues and ensure high-quality project delivery
  
• Liaise closely with internal stakeholders across Europe/globally
  
• Represent the Ireland business confidently at group level
  
• Contribute to wider European strategy and cross-border collaboration
  
• Support regional initiatives and knowledge sharing across markets
  
• Identify opportunities for growth, operational improvement, and scalability within Ireland
  
• Full ownership of the Ireland P&L (c. €9m turnover, global business €140m)
  
• Oversee budgeting, forecasting, cash flow management, and cost control alongside the CFO
  
• Drive profitability, margin optimisation, and sustainable growth

• Currently lead or leading a head office business unit (c.€5m–€20m turnover)
  
• Have full P&L accountability
  
• Operate within project-based, operational, B2B or services-led environments
  
• Are comfortable within international or multi-entity group structures
  
• Dublin City Centre (hybrid working)
  
• Occasional European travel
  
• Competitive senior package reflective of experience
